The name 'Nomoo' cheekily nods to the brand’s plant-based roots, setting the tone for a fun, conscious, and flavor-packed experience. This project explores logo designs, naming, packaging design, character design and development, and collateral design for the vegan ice-cream brand.
The designs we explored intended to retain the quirkiness of the brand in every element. This is reflected in the names of each flavour - 'Melon-choly', 'Berry-necessary' and 'Pista-la-vista', and through the playful fonts we explored for the wordmark itself. The character development and designs were inspired by animations like 'Steamboat Willie' from the 1920s and video games like 'Cuphead'.
